Sample itinerary for  trips to Vancouver

DAY 1

  • Hop onboard and fly to Vancouver;
  • For lunch, explore Granville Street, one of the biggest commercial streets of Vancouver;
  • Take a stroll by the water and admire the lively port around Canada Place;
  • Your dream of flying is sure to come true as you experience Flyover Canada: a virtual adventure that will have you travel across Canada from east to west;
  • Discover historic Gastown, Vancouver's oldest neighborhood, known for its cobbled streets and unique architecture.

DAY 2

  • What better way to learn about Vancouver's highlights than with the company of an expert during a guided city tour;
  • Have lunch and explore Vancouver's Chinatown, which has been buzzing with activity for over a century with vibrant colors, exotic cuisine and inspiring culture. Stop at Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classic Chinese Garden to take a photo next to the world's narrowest commercial building, the Sam Kee Building!
  • Enjoy a self-guided tour of Canada's largest aquarium and center for marine research, conservation and rehabilitation of marine animals: the Vancouver Aquarium!
  • Time for a workout on wheels! Enjoy a beautiful ride in Stanley Park: the first, the biggest and the liveliest urban park of Vancouver;
  • Admire the sunset over English Bay, comfortably seated on the benches of Sunset Beach Park.

DAY 3

  • Patricipate in a self-guided tour of Canada's award-winning civic history museum, the Museum of Vancouver;
  • Ahoy matey! Embark on a pirate ship where you will be looking for a submerged treasure in False Creek Bay at the Pirate Adventures of Granville Island;
  •  See if the University of British Columbia (UBC) is right for as you walk through the beautiful campus grounds;
  • Discover the hippie heritage center of Kitsilano, during some free time.

DAY 4

  • As you visit the Olympic Village, make a stop to admire "The Birds", a giant sculpture depicting house sparrows ;
  • Walk across the iconic Lions Gate Bridge for a better view of the fabulous Vancouver panorama;
  • Get ready to face your fear of heights as you cross the Capilano suspended bridge;
  • You will see Grouse Mountain in all its splendor aboard the Skyride;
  • Enjoy some free time to shop around and explore at the CF Pacific Center, THE shopping destination of the city.

DAY 5

  • Take advantage of your free time to grab a bite and explore the village of Whistler, the center of the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games;
  • Get carried away on your hunter and gatherer themed tour of the Squamish communities and the Lil'wat people at the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Center;
  • Admire the forests, lakes and glaciers lying at your feet by taking the Peak 2 Peak gondola, the record holder in the Guinness Book of Records for the longest and highest lift, connecting the summits of Whistler and Blackcomb.

DAY 6

  • Bid farewell to Vancouver as you fly back home.
