Sample itinerary for New York City trips

DAY 1

  • Head on an orientation walk through Midtown Manhattan to see Grand Central Station, Bryant Park, St Patrick's Cathedral, and the New York Public Library.
  • Enjoy some free time on NYC's iconic 5th Avenue to check out all the amazing flagship stores and sights from your favorite movies.
  • Catch eye-popping views atop the Empire State building or the Top of the Rock.

DAY 2

  • Hop on a boat to go discover the beauty and history of the Statue of Liberty and of Ellis Island.
  • Learn about the Federal Reserve, Federal Hall, Wall Street and more as your stroll through the Financial District with your tour leader.
  • Act like a local and take the NY subway on your way to Chinatown, to discover one of the largest Asian neighborhoods in North America.
  • Walk on the Brooklyn Bridge for a spectacular view of the Manhattan skyline.

DAY 3

  • Discover the incredible charm of Greenwich Village, commonly referred to as "the Village", on an orientation walk with your tour leader.
  • Explore the ever-so-delicious Chelsea Market, home to the freshest food in the Big Apple and birthplace to the Oreo cookie.
  • See the Meatpacking District from above as you walk on the ever-so-lovely High Line.
  • Snap a picture on the famous red steps and enjoy some free time in the one-and-only, Times Square.
  • End the evening with a musical on Broadway or a baseball match.

DAY 4

  • Discover Harlem on an orientation walk with your tour leader to see, the Harlem Walk of Fame, Malcolm X Avenue, the Apollo Theatre, Strivers’ Row, and the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture.
  • Travel from the ancient past to the distant future at the American Museum of Natural History.
  • Check out Central Park's main highlights, that may include the Bethesda Fountain, Strawberry Fields, the Pond, or the Alice in Wonderland statue.
