Sample itinerary for trips to Montréal

DAY 1

  • Head off on an orientation walk through charming Old Montreal with your tour leader to see Place Jacques Cartier, City Hall, Marché Bonsecours, the Old Port, Notre Dame Basilica and more.

  • Discover how Montrealers brave the cold winter months as you visit the Underground City, a network of malls, museums and restaurants.

DAY 3

  • Enjoy the sight's of this year's Mural Festival as you follow your tour leader along the Montreal 'Main' to see the incredible graffiti art hidden around every corner.
  • Explore the hip Plateau Mont-Royal, with all its vintage clothing stores, record shops and quaint cafés, with some free time with your friends.
  • Strike a pose atop Montreal’s iconic Mont-Royal for the very best view of the metropolis.
  • Feast and dance during your authentic French Canadian sugar shack experience.

DAY 4

  • Travel through the ecosystems of the Americas as you visit Montreal's newly renovated Biodome, followed by a tour of the Olympic Stadium, host to the 1976 Summer Olympics.
  • Local graffiti artists are going to show you how to (legally!) create your own urban masterpieces.
  • Take in the sights and sounds of the Marché Jean-Talon, Montreal’s busiest outdoor market, as you partake in our Grocery Scavenger Hunt.
