STUDENT TOURS TO LOIRE VALLEY & PARIS

DAY 1 · DEPARTURE

• Meet with your group at your local airport and take off aboard your overnight flight to Paris.

DAY 2 · PARIS - TOURS

• Arrive in Paris and meet your Tour Director—it’s time to begin your trip!
• Hop aboard your motor caoch and begin the drive towards the Loire Valley, with a stop en route to discover the magnificent Cathedral of Chartres. Marvel at this Gothic masterpiece, a UNESCO World Heritage site renowned for its stunning stained glass windows and soaring spires.
• Enjoy some authentic French cuisine for dinner before checking in at your hotel in Tours for a good night's rest.

DAY 3 · AMBOISE

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Experience the unique architecture of the Troglodyte Houses of Forges, Rochemenier or Goupillières—remarkable homes carved directly into stunning rock formations.
• Step into the past as you visit the majestic castle of Chenonceau or Amboise, each with its own unique history and Renaissance-style architecture.
• Visit the former residence of Leonardo da Vinci, the Clos Lucé Castle in Amboise, where this genius spent his final years.
• Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest. Delight in the authentic tastes of the Loire Valley, like tarte tatin, rillettes, pralines, and delicious cheeses.
  

DAY 4 · ORLÉANS - PARIS

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Discover the iconic Chambord Castle, a symbol of the French Renaissance. Marvel at its stunning architecture and climb the famous double-helix stairs designed by Leonardo da Vinci.
• Continue your journey toward Orléans to discover the city that Joan of Arc famously liberated in the 15th century, rich in historical significance.
• Return to Paris for dinner at a lovely local restaurant before heading to the hotel for the night.

DAY 5 · PARIS

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Welcome to Paris—the City of Love and City of Lights! Enjoy a 2-hour walking tour with a local guide to catch your first glimpse of Paris' iconic landmarks.
• Unveil the mystery behind the enigmatic smile of the Mona Lisa during your visit to the Musée du Louvre.
• Ahoy, mateys! Experience Paris' monuments from a new perspective on a one-hour narrated cruise aboard a bateau-mouche. Don’t forget your cameras!
• Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.

DAY 6 · PARIS

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• What do Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, and Van Gogh have in common? You’ll find masterpieces from each of them during your visit of the Musée d'Orsay.
• Explore Paris' Sainte-Chapelle at your own pace, a stunning Gothic chapel once home to the Kings of France. Don’t miss the impressive stained glass depicting 1,113 biblical scenes.
• Head on an orientation walk through the enchanting Quartier Latin. Discover the stunning Luxembourg Gardens, the Jardin des Plantes, and iconic landmarks like the Panthéon.
• Visit the iconic Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile, located at the bustling roundabout and home to the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier.

DAY 7 · PARIS

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director before catching the RER train to Versailles!
• Discover one of France's greatest treasures, the Palace of Versailles. Enjoy a self-guided tour of this UNESCO World Heritage site, exploring the King's Chamber, the Queen's private apartment, and the Hall of Mirrors.
• No visit to Versailles is complete without exploring its stunning gardens, designed by Le Nôtre during Louis XIV's reign. Stroll the Grand Canal, admire the fountains, and get lost in the mazes!
• Take time for lunch at the Marché Notre-Dame, where you can gather local specialties for a delightful picnic. Don’t miss the nearby Berthillon Ice Cream shop for dessert!
• Return to Paris and explore charming Montmartre, perched on the city’s highest hill. Don’t miss the stunning Basilique du Sacré-Cœur!
• Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.

DAY 8 · PARIS

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Ascend the iconic Eiffel Tower and uncover its hidden secrets, breathtaking views, and romantic spots—this is a visit you won't forget!
• Explore the Faubourg Saint-Germain for lunch, where you can spot landmarks like the French National Assembly and Les Invalides.
• Discover the Army Museum, located in the Hôtel National des Invalides. Explore its collections from Antiquity to the 20th century, and snap a photo of the Golden Dome!
• Explore the Grands Boulevards, a shopper's paradise (!), and enjoy some free time along Boulevard Haussmann.

DAY 9 · PARIS

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Visit the enchanting Père Lachaise Cemetery with a local guide. Discover the final resting places of luminaries like Molière, Oscar Wilde, and Édith Piaf—truly a show-stopper!
• Enjoy free time for lunch at the historic Marché des Enfants Rouges, where you can indulge in local delicacies.
• Tour the Grand Rex, Europe’s largest cinema, inaugurated in 1932. Experience this famous venue steeped in Parisian heritage!
• Enjoy free time in the historic Le Marais district, home to the iconic Notre-Dame Cathedral and vibrant cultural landmarks.

DAY 10 · PARIS - DEPARTURE

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• With your head and luggage full of memories, make your way to the Paris airport to catch your flight home.
