STUDENT TOURS TO GREECE & ITALY

DAY 1 · DEPARTURE

• Meet with your group at your local airport and take off aboard your overnight flight to Athens.

DAY 2 · ATHENS - CORINTH

• Arrive in Athens and meet your Tour Director—it’s time to begin your trip!
• Discover the Corinth Canal, an artificial waterway located in the Peloponnese, with origins dating back to ancient Greece.
• Admire the breathtaking views of the Gulf as you visit the Temple of Apollo at the Acrocorinth archaeological site.
• Return to Athens for dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.
  

DAY 3 · ATHENS

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Explore Mycenae by wandering through the legendary ruins of this ancient civilization, as featured in the Iliad and the Odyssey.
• Discover the secrets of olive oil production during a guided tour of an olive oil plantation, followed by a tasting!
• Stop in Nafplion to visit the Venetian Fortress of Palamidi.
• Return to Athens for dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.
  

DAY 4 · ATHENS

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Embark on an epic panoramic tour of the Greek capital, including the Panathenaic Stadium, the Parliament, the National Library, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, and much more! 
• Follow your Tour Director through the picturesque streets of the completely pedestrianized Plaka district. Don't miss the Monastiraki flea market, where you will find exceptional souvenirs.
• Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.
  

DAY 5 · DELPHI - NAPLES

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Follow a local guide on a tour of the archaeological site of Delphi, one of the most important in Greece. The remains will leave you speechless!
• Head to Patras to board the ferry to Italy! Once in Italy, you will hop aboard a motor coach to Naples. 
• Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.
  

DAY 6 · NAPLES - POMPEII

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Learn about life in 80 B.C during your visit to the Pompeii archaeological site, where life was frozen in time following the eruption of Vesuvius.
• Put on some comfy shoes and head out for a fascinating hike to the top of Vesuvius volcano with a local guide.
• Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.
  

DAY 7 · NAPLES - CAPRI 

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Enjoy a full day of sightseeing on the beautiful island of Capri, full of treasures to discover. See its Roman remains at the villa of Tiberius, and its natural splendors at the Arco Naturale, a surprising arch that overlooks the eastern coast of the island, on top of many more highlights.
• Enjoy the authentic side of the small town of Anacapri and its Baroque architecture as you stroll through the bustling port of the island's capital.
• Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.
  

DAY 8 · ROME

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Travel back to the days of the gladiators during a visit to the famous Colosseum with a local tour guide. Explore the imperial palaces and admire the breathtaking view of the Circus Maximus from the top of Palatine Hill.
• Relive the days of the Roman Empire during an impressive gladiator show!
• Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.
  

DAY 9 · ROME

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• Head to the Vatican! See one of the world's greatest art collections and learn about the history of the Vatican and the Catholic Church on your half-day guided visit through a series of palaces, apartments, and galleries leading to the Sistine Chapel.
• Discover St. Peter’s Basilica, a creation involving many great architects of the Renaissance.
  
• Head on a guided tour of Baroque Rome to see the Pantheon, the Spanish Steps, and the world-famous Trevi Fountain. Don't forget to make a wish!
• Flour, water, and salt—here are the basic ingredients of one of Italy’s most famous dishes: pizza! Dive into local gastronomy during a pizza-making workshop, where you'll learn everything from choosing local products to cooking tricks, on top of enjoying your final product for dinner!

DAY 10 · ROME - DEPARTURE

• Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
• With your head and luggage full of memories, make your way to the Rome airport to catch your flight home.
