Sample itinerary for Ireland trips

DAY 1 · DEPARTURE

  • Meet with your group at your local airport and take off aboard your overnight flight to Dublin.

DAY 2 · DUBLIN

  • Arrive in Dublin and meet your Tour Director—it’s time to begin your trip!
  • Discover Dublin on a walking tour with your local guide, from the River Liffey to the bustling streets of Temple Bar. Admire the Georgian architecture and learn about Dublin's role in the 1916 uprising.
  • Visit Dublin Castle, built on the remains of a Viking fort, and explore this symbol of British power now central to state administration.
  • Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant before checking in at the hotel for a good night's rest.

DAY 3 · DUBLIN

  • Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
  • Stroll through Phoenix Park, a vast green space where deer roam freely, and admire local monuments such as the Papal Cross, Magazine Fort or the Wellington Testimonial.
  • Enjoy a guided visit to Kilmainham Gaol Museum, a former prison and important site in the fight for Irish independence.
  • Visit Trinity College, home to the Old Library and the famous "Book of Kells."
  • Explore St. Patrick's Cathedral, dedicated to the Patron Saint of the Irish, and symbol of Ireland's conversion to Christianity.
  • Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.

DAY 4 · CORK

  • Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
  • Visit the Rock of Cashel, a collection of medieval buildings and a former residence of Irish kings.
  • Explore the fortified city of Cork with your Tour Director to learn more about its key role in the independence of the Republic of Ireland, its industrial past, and how it because the dynamic and cultural city as we know it today.
  • Take a self-guided tour of Blarney Castle and its garden and kiss the famous Blarney Stone.
  • Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.

DAY 5 · GALWAY

  • Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
  • Visit the Cliffs of Moher, one of Ireland's most spectacular panoramas
  • Explore Burren Park, a unique landscape that contrasts with Ireland's green hills, almost making you feel like you’re walking on the moon.
  • Check in at your hotel in Galway and enjoy dinner in a nearby restaurant.

DAY 6 · SLIGO

  • Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
  • Sheepdogs are an integral part of the farming culture in Ireland, so let’s see just how much a well-trained dog can help its master during your visit of Killary Sheep Farm.
  • Visit Kylemore Abbey, home to the Benedictine nuns since 1920.
  • Head to Sligo for the night and enjoy a nice meal nearby your hotel.  

DAY 7 · PORTRUSH

  • Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
  • Head to Donegal County to discover Glenveagh Castle and its stunning surroundings on a guided tour of the 19th century castle and its gardens, among the most impressive in Europe. 
  • Time to make way to the United-Kingdom. Say goodbye to the Republic of Ireland as you head to Portrush, Northern Ireland, for the evening.
  • Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.

DAY 8 · BELFAST

  • Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
  • Visit the Giant’s Causeway and enjoy the breathtaking views of this natural site, heard to be the result of a battle between Scottish and Irish giants.
  • Make way to Belfast, the capital city of Northern Ireland. You’ll begin with a motorcoach tour to discover the famous Peace Walls, followed by a walking tour to explore the rich cultural heritage of the city.
  • Have dinner at a lovely local restaurant and head to the hotel for a good night's rest.

DAY 9 · DUBLIN

  • Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
  • Uncover the true legend of the Titanic, in the city where it all began! Explore the shipyard, walk the decks and travel to the depths of the ocean as you make your way through the 9 interactive galleries of the Titanic Experience.
  • Enjoy some leisure time to explore Dublin at your own pace or go shopping on Temple Street.
  • Enjoy an evening of traditional Irish food, music and dance with an Irish show at Taylors Three Rock, Ireland’s beloved pub and entertainment venue!

DAY 10 · DUBLIN - DEPARTURE

  • Breakfast and orientation session at the hotel with your Tour Director. 
  • With your head and luggage full of memories, make your way to the Dublin airport to catch your flight home.
